Terms & Conditions
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) set out the basis on which Centri Pumps LTD (“the Company”, “we”, “our”, “us”) provides goods and services to our clients (“you”, “your”). By engaging us to carry out work, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Quotations & Estimates - All written quotations are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated. Quotes are prepared based on the information available at the time. Any additional work, materials, or modifications required once work has started will be charged separately.
2. Services & Workmanship - All services are carried out by trained and qualified technicians in line with industry standards. We are not responsible for pre-existing faults, hidden defects, or non-compliant installations discovered during our work. Work areas must be accessible, safe, and free from obstruction before our technicians arrive.
3. Materials & Equipment - Any materials or equipment supplied by us remain the property of the Company until full payment is received. If you supply your own equipment, it must comply with safety and regulatory standards. We cannot accept responsibility for the performance or failure of customer-supplied equipment.
4. Payment Terms - Payment is due within 30 days upon completion of work unless otherwise agreed in writing. Larger projects may require staged payments or deposits. Late payments may incur interest plus any collection costs.
5. Cancellations & Missed Appointments - Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice may be subject to a cancellation fee. If we are unable to gain access to the property at the agreed time, a call-out charge may apply.
- Appointments cancelled after materials have been purchased may encur a 30% restocking fee.
6. Warranties & Guarantees - Workmanship Warranty: We guarantee our labour for 12 months from the date of completion. Manufacturer’s Warranty: Applies as provided by the manufacturer. Warranties are void if equipment is tampered with, serviced by unauthorised parties, or not properly maintained.
7. Client Responsibilities - You agree to follow recommended maintenance schedules for your system. Failure to maintain equipment in line with guidance may void warranties. You are responsible for providing accurate information about the property and existing systems.
8. Liability - We are not liable for:
- Damage caused by pre-existing faults, poor maintenance, or hidden issues.
- Loss of business, income, or consequential damages.
- Delays caused by circumstances outside our control (e.g. weather, supply shortages).
- Our liability is limited to the value of the work carried out.
9. Health & Safety - You must inform us of any hazards on site (e.g. asbestos, chemicals, restricted access). We reserve the right to suspend or reschedule work if unsafe conditions are identified.
10. Compliance & Permits - All work will be carried out in line with relevant regulations and standards. Unless otherwise agreed, it is your responsibility to obtain any necessary permissions or permits.
11. Force Majeure - We are not liable for delays or failure to perform due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, strikes, or supply chain disruptions.
12. Termination - Either party may terminate the agreement if the other materially breaches its obligations. You remain responsible for costs incurred up to the date of termination.
13. Complaints & Dispute Resolution - We aim to resolve complaints quickly and fairly. Please contact us in writing at service@centripumps.co.uk. If a resolution cannot be reached, disputes will be governed by the laws of Great Britain.
14. Privacy - We collect and process personal data only for the purpose of delivering our services. Information will never be shared with third parties except where required by law.
15. Amendments - We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The latest version will always be available on request or via our website.
16. Entire Agreement - These Terms & Conditions, together with any written quotation or agreement, form the entire understanding between the Company and the Client. No other verbal or written communication shall override these Terms unless agreed in writing by both parties.
